Each outcome (e.g., 'William Ruto') functions as its own Yes/No binary market: 'Yes' means that specific candidate wins; 'No' means they do not. You can hold 'Yes' shares in multiple candidates simultaneously — but only one can resolve 'Yes'.

'Yes' for a candidate means they are the sole individual officially declared winner of the August 8, 2027 presidential election (or the subsequent constitutionally mandated runoff) by the IEBC — and no other candidate is declared winner in that same process.

If the IEBC fails to declare a sole winner under constitutional procedures by October 31, 2027 — including due to unresolved ties, legal nullification without re-run, or administrative failure — the market resolves to 'No Winner' (i.e., all outcomes resolve 'No').

The market resolves no earlier than the IEBC’s official gazette notice of final presidential results, and no later than October 31, 2027 at 23:59 UTC. If the IEBC declares a winner before that date, resolution occurs within 48 hours of the gazette publication.
